gfs outage

Post by terrence davidson » Sun May 15, 2016 6:48 pm

GFS has not been usable for the past 4 days. the downloads for the GFS products during this time have been abnormal as in much quicker than they should have been resulting screen display one solid error reading  . all other models are function correctly and are with out errors. has any one else have run into this.

Thanks for the note Terrence.

We have status monitors in place, but they cannot 'see' the quality of the data, just that it updated.
Also customers tend to think someone else has reported something so in the end nobody reports anything. :-)

So anyway... they upgraded the GFS in the past couple days so something must have changed in the data feed... I'll work on it.
